While Liz enjoys every one of her real estate clients, she's especially fond of first time buyers, first time sellers, and empty nesters that are downsizing or rightsizing their living space. These "first timers" and seniors who haven't been involved in a real estate transaction in recent years do need more information than more experienced clients, and she's happy to provide it.
In addition to her regular licensing, Liz has received the Real Estate Academy designation of A.S.A., which stands for Accredited Senior Agent, focusing on the mature and senior market (age 50 plus) and working with a team of professionals to assist with all levels of senior issues. The professional training and education that she received earning her A.S.A. designation allows her to represent sellers and buyers who need someone who understands their special interests. Your needs and wants are what are important. She counsels, guides and eliminates sales pressure.
Liz also believes that each of her clients deserves her undivided attention. She won't take attention away from one client to check email, answer a call, or send a text message to another. Instead she makes every effort to respond within two hours, even during evening hours and on weekends.
Buying or selling a home can be stressful as well as exciting, so she lets her clients know that they can count on her to be at their side through the entire process. She's only a phone call away.
Liz takes the time to explain the entire buying and selling process and the purpose of each document used so that her clients know what to expect at each step. Each detail is critical and Liz makes sure all agreements are complete, concise, and correct. She says it is always worth the extra time and effort to make sure that her clients are never hit with surprises that could have prevented.
Buyers represented by Liz always go into purchases fully informed. She provides them with a list of trusted lenders, information on the community, the market, and every detail available on the home(s) they're considering. She also prepares a market analysis so they can make a competitive offer.
Sellers enjoy added benefits as well. Liz provides a staging consultation, professional photography, and seller home warranty programs – all at no cost to her sellers. In addition to a comprehensive market analysis she counsels her clients with regard to the current market. She encourages her sellers to choose their pricing strategy based on their own goals and motivation – whether time or money.

Liz places her listings on the most popular real estate search websites which includes Realtor.ca. Listings include professional pictures, a 360 degree virtual tour where needed, enticing descriptions, a feature sheet and extensive information on both the home and the neighborhood. Just listed announcements are distributed in the neighbourhood and a telemarketing campaign is conducted to advertise your property.
And she doesn't stop there. Liz target markets her listings directly to top buyers’ agents, provides agent tours and open houses, and advertises in select print media.
Liz holds both the Accredited Senior Agent and the Accredited Buyer Representative designation.
Before turning to a career in real estate, she was an administrator with an elementary school board. During her years of working with students, teachers and parents, Liz developed listening and communicating skills that enabled her to keep everyone working together and focused on a positive outcome. She became committed to credible customer service from her time working in a service oriented company – and she remains so. Through years of providing excellent customer service Liz has learned the skill of listening. After years of helping others in education, Liz decided she wanted to work with individual people instead of government. And what choice could be better than real estate? She loves being more personally involved with her clients and helping make their dreams come true.
On a more personal note, Liz enjoys many hobbies and interests. She’s a book reader and especially likes mystery and intrigue, history, biography and current events. She has a special interest in archeology and the mysteries of science. Euchre is her card game of choice and she belongs to a progressive euchre group. Nascar and classic cars has been more than a passing interest since the 70’s. Liz volunteers with St. Vincent’s Kitchen in Oshawa and holds the Royal LePage own Shelter Foundation in high regard. To that end she is heavily involved with the Annual Royal LePage Yard Sale held across Canada each May to raise funds for Women’s Shelters. Her office alone in Whitby raised $20,000 in May 2013 for Durham Region Shelters. Liz’s particular love and concern is animal welfare. She collects worn facecloths, towels, blankets, food, toys and donations to Animal Rescue and Adoption Centres in Durham Region.
